How to Format a Document MLA Style in Google Docs 

 

In-text Citation with Author: 

Format: (Author's Last Name page information was found on).

 

Example: (Smith 12).

 

In-text Citation without an Author:

Format: ("Title of article" page information was found on).

 

Example: ("The Art of Reading" 151).

---------------------------    

Article from a Website NOT a Database:

Format: Author Last Name, First Name. "Title of webpage." Title of website. Website updated date. http://fulladdress. Accessed date.

 

Example: Goldstein, Sara. "Vegetarian Cooking." Cooking Light.com. 2014. Retrieved from

    http://cookinglight.com/vegetarian122893 Accessed 25 October 2017.
