College Credit Plus Textbooks
Textbooks are covered costs under the College Credit Plus program. Information about obtaining textbooks with each of our College Credit Plus partner institutions is below. Students are responsible for picking up textbooks at their college institutions if they cannot be delivered to the student's home.
ALL TEXTBOOKS FROM ALL INSTITUTIONS MUST BE RETURNED TO MRS. POLLARD AT HAYES HIGH SCHOOL AFTER EACH SEMESTER.
Columbus State Community College
Students will receive an email about obtaining their College Credit Plus textbooks to their CSCC email at the start of each semester, about 1 week prior to classes beginning. Students are awarded vouchers and will purchase textbooks utilizing the voucher at the online CSCC Bookstore. Students can find the textbooks they need by visiting HERE. All textbooks must be returned to Mrs. Pollard at the end of the semester or students will be billed for the textbooks.
Marion Technical College
Students taking the MTC Block courses at Hayes will be given their textbooks prior to class beginning. If Mrs. Pollard does not have a textbook available, please follow the directions HERE. All textbooks must be returned to Mrs. Pollard at the end of the semester or students will be billed for their textbooks.
Ohio Wesleyan University
Students should find their course textbooks by following the directions below. Beginning in 2018-19, Ohio Wesleyan University will no longer participate in College Credit Plus and students will be responsible for purchasing their own textbooks.
- Go to campus.owu.edu and click the Search tab along the top
- Click the Section Search link that appears below the tabs
- Click the Textbook Search link that appears on the left.A Textbooks window will open.
- Select the Term, Year, and Department for the class you’re interested in.The list of classes displays automatically once you’ve made your selection.
- Click on the course ID or Title link to see a list of textbooks for that course with ISBN and price.If you see the message “No sections with ordered textbooks were found . . . ,” you will need to contact the instructor to ask about textbooks.
- When you’re done, simply close the Textbooks window.
Ohio State University & Ohio State University-Marion
Delaware City Schools has set up a voucher with CarmenBooks. Directions on using your voucher are HERE.
All textbooks must be returned to Mrs. Pollard at the end of the semester or students will be billed for their textbooks.
University of Toledo
Delaware City Schools has a voucher program with the University of Toledo. Students will be mailed their textbooks directly from the University of Toledo.
All textbooks must be returned to Mrs. Pollard at the end of the semester or students will be billed for their textbooks.
Otterbein University
Delaware City Schools has purchased the textbooks and workbooks needed for the Music Theory College Credit Plus course. Mrs. Gillis will provide students the textbook and workbook. Textbooks must be returned to Mrs. Gillis at the end of the school year. Students will keep their workbooks.
Students taking courses on Otterbein University's campus should obtain a voucher from their Otterbein University advisor. Students will take the voucher to the Otterbein University Bookstore to pick up their textbooks.
All textbooks must be returned to Mrs. Pollard at the end of the semester or students will be billed for their textbooks.
